  1. To enable seafarers visiting ports to contact union inspectors, chaplains, ship visitors, seafarer centre staff and volunteers.
  2. To facilitate the effective operation of welfare boards, also known as port welfare committees.

We may also receive personal information indirectly from other registered users or employers of registered users where such data is already in the public domain.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  1. Establish a central source of information about seafarer welfare services and facilities, worldwide.
  2. Provide a global port welfare information service to seafarers visiting major trade ports.

We may share this information with other registered users as required to fulfil the use cases listed above.
